About The La Salle Chamber of Commerce

The La Salle Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1990 by concerned citizens in the area. It became an official member of the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce in 1995. The founding Board of Directors included: Terrence Petty (President), Gerry Girardin (Vice President), Jill Koroscil (Secretary) and Ray Cormier (Treasurer).

The Chamber was involved in advocating for development of Main Street in La Salle – sidewalks, pavement, strip malls, signage, renovations etc. Their development of a trades list was invaluable to the rapidly growing community. The La Salle Chamber was also involved in developing community spirit through numerous events including the Annual Lights of La Salle Contest.
